We are a company from Bermeo, in the Basque Country, that has been able to adapt to the changes of this dynamic and modern world. And all thanks to the loyalty and trust that our customers have placed in us since our origins.
One of our main challenges is to enhance the sustainability of our production without reducing its quality and food safety. To this end, we have implemented a global quality management system, from the design of the facilities, focused on optimizing the cleaning and hygiene processes, to the exhaustive control of the most critical stages of the production process.
Undoubtedly, our future strategy is quality, with R+D+i, new products, human resources, technical equipment, collaboration projects, quality standards (IFS) and more food safety.

At Zallo we believe that a healthy and harmonious diet is one that maintains the balance of the organism, covering all its needs.
Conservas Zallo products are an essential food for our daily diet and for a healthy and balanced diet and are a source of proteins that provide vitamins (e.g. vitamin B3 which helps to reduce cholesterol levels, promotes circulation). It is important to mention that all Conservas Zallo products are also suitable for coeliacs.

Our quality management system aims at the continuous improvement of our processes, meeting both customer requirements and current legislation.
Sustainability
Zallo is a company concerned about harmony with the environment. That is why, from the fishery to the final customer, we encourage and support the use of sustainable practices and try to constantly improve our canning processes to help as much as possible to maintain and improve the environment.
We focus our production on fresh product from the Bay of Biscay, supporting the “one by one” capture techniques of the local fishing fleets, thus avoiding the accidental capture of dolphins as well as the deterioration of the seabed. And with the help of the international MSC (Marine Stewardship Council) sustainable fishing certification, we offer the consumer an environmentally friendly product. At Zallo we actively work on the separation, minimization and recycling of cardboard, plastic and other by-products (e.g. fish waste and fats). We treat and purify all the waste we generate.
